The Landing Page

We designed a landing page for the competition to increase conversions.

The Hero Image

Bulls and Bears symbolize the ups and downs of the financial markets respectively. So we made them the stars of the hero image.

The stroke in the background represents the ever-fluctuating nature of the Forex market. The upward stroke from the Bull represents the financial markets rising (bull market) while the downward stroke towards the Bear represented the financial markets falling (bear market).

The name, nature and the duration of the competition are also displayed prominently on the hero image.

An Introduction To The Competition

After the hero image, the visitor is welcomed with a short introduction about the competition.

We also accentuated the top three benefits of joining the competition by creating three tiles for these benefits, enclosing them with a bright orange border and enlarging the font size of the text in the tiles.

We chose to highlight the benefits at the top of the landing page because we knew we wanted to grab the visitor’s attention and convert them to participants fast before they leave the landing page.

The Call-To-Action

The best moment to convert a visitor is after we have their attention. Therefore, we placed the sign up button below the benefits.

Rules & Regulations and Terms & Conditions

The Rules & Regulations and Terms & Conditions are in the landing page so visitors know what to expect before joining the competition. It is also a convenient place for participants to refer to them.

The Colours

Orange and black were the main colours used in this landing page.

Orange was used as it’s a strong, energetic and attention grabbing colour.

Black was used because it appeals to our target audience (youths).

The Schedule

We highlighted and annotated important points in the competition timeline in various colours.

We included a short description of the Forex mentors for the competition at the end of the landing page.
